Report on 80th Independence Day

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly celebrated the 80th Independence Day of the nation at IMA Bhawan, Bareilly, with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. IMA office bearers and doctors participated enthusiastically in the celebration and reaffirmed their commitment to the unity, integrity and progress of the nation. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava, President, IMA Bareilly, said that Independence Day is not merely an occasion for celebration but also a day to remember the sacrifices and contributions of the great freedom fighters whose struggle led to the independence of the country. He stated that doctors play an important role not only in safeguarding the health of society but also in contributing to nation building. He called upon all doctors to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, sensitivity and a spirit of service. During the programme, the doctors present pledged to contribute towards the unity, integrity and progress of the nation. The entire celebration was marked by a strong sense of patriotism and national pride. The occasion was attended by Dr. Ravish Agarwal, President-Elect, IMA Uttar Pradesh State; Dr. I.S.
