Report of Clinical Meeting on Oncology

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Bareilly, in collaboration with RGCIRC (Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre), successfully organized a Clinical Meeting (CME) on the subject of Oncology on 15 November 2025 at 9:00 PM at the IMA Bhawan, 110 Civil Lines, Bareilly (near Prabha Cinema). In this significant scientific program, Dr. Sumit Goyal, Associate Director, Medical Oncology, delivered an insightful lecture on “Clinical Approach to a Patient with Suspected Cancer.” Additionally, Dr. Parth S. Chaudhary, Director, Nuclear Medicine, shared advanced updates on “PET CT Imaging and Recent Developments in Radioisotope Therapy in Oncology.” The participating doctors described both sessions as highly informative, practical, and enriching. This CME marked the second Clinical Meeting of the current IMA Bareilly tenure, aimed at providing physicians with the latest advancements in cancer diagnosis and treatment. The program was efficiently conducted under the guidance of Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava (President), Dr. Anshu Agrawal (Secretary), Dr. Girish Agrawal (Chairman, Scientific Committee), and Dr. Kamendra Singh (PRO). A large number of senior and young doctors from Bareilly and neighboring regions actively participated in the event. IMA Bareilly remains committed to providing high-quality scientific knowledge and will continue to organize such meaningful and innovative academic programs in the future as well. The CME was followed by fellowship and a delightful dinner.
