Report of IMA UPCON 2025

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Uttar Pradesh successfully organized IMA UPCON 2025, the 90th Annual UP State Conference, on 29th and 30th November 2025 at IMA Bhawan, Bareilly. This prestigious two-day academic event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of doctors from different cities and states across India. Undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students also actively participated in various scientific sessions, making the conference academically enriching and inclusive. The conference commenced on 29th November 2025 with a Flag Salutation Ceremony, followed by the 4th State Working Committee Meeting. Thereafter, a highly informative Scientific Session – Cardiology Conclave was held, where many renowned and eminent doctors from different corners of India delivered expert lectures on diverse topics related to cardiology, benefiting clinicians and students alike. In the evening, the Award Ceremony and Inauguration Ceremony were organized, along with the Installation of the New Team for the Session 2025–26. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri Santosh Gangwar Ji, Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand. Several senior dignitaries from IMA UP State graced the event, including Dr. Sharad Agarwal (Patron, IMA UP State), Dr. Rajeev Goel (President, IMA UP State), and Dr. Ashish Agarwal (Secretary, IMA UP State). On this occasion, IMA Bareilly was honored with the Prestigious Award for Best Local Branch of IMA UP State, a moment of great pride for the host branch. During the installation ceremony, Dr. Ravish Agarwal was announced as the President-Elect, IMA UP State. The first day concluded with a vibrant Gala Night, fostering camaraderie and fellowship among delegates. The second day, 30th November 2025, began with Nath Nagri Darshan for the delegates, who were fortunate to seek blessings at the revered Nath temples. Academic and organizational proceedings continued with the 144th and 145th State Council Meetings. The day further featured another excellent scientific session, Pulmocon, wherein eminent speakers from different states delivered insightful lectures on various aspects of Pulmonology. A hands-on workshop on Pulmonary Function Tests, specially designed for PG students, was also conducted and was highly appreciated. Additionally, the IMA MSN Conclave UPCON 2025 was organized, adding further academic value to the conference. IMA UPCON 2025 concluded on a highly successful note, leaving participants academically enriched and professionally inspired. The conference was organized under the able leadership of Organizing Chairman Dr. Ravish Agarwal and Organizing Secretary Dr. Vimal Kumar Bhardwaj, with strong support from Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava (President, IMA Bareilly), Dr. Anshu Agarwal (Secretary, IMA Bareilly), and Dr. Shalini Maheshwari (Treasurer, IMA Bareilly).
