Report of London Tour

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Family Tour to the United Kingdom was successfully organized from 18th to 26th November 2025. The tour provided IMA members and their families an excellent opportunity to explore the cultural heritage, history, and scenic beauty of London and Edinburgh while strengthening bonds of friendship and togetherness. The journey was well-coordinated and comfortable, making it a memorable experience for all participants. The group arrived in London and checked in at the Holiday Inn. After a brief rest, the tour began with a scenic Thames River Cruise, offering picturesque views of London’s famous landmarks along the riverfront. This was followed by a visit to the iconic London Eye, from where members enjoyed panoramic views of the city. The first day concluded with an overnight stay at the hotel. On the second day, the IMA family group enjoyed a comprehensive city tour of London. Major attractions including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Trafalgar Square were covered. The tour provided valuable insights into British history, architecture, and culture, and members enthusiastically captured memorable moments during the sightseeing. The third day featured visits to Lord’s Cricket Ground, which was a special attraction for cricket enthusiasts, followed by an excursion to Windsor Palace. The visit to the royal palace offered a glimpse into the rich heritage and traditions of the British monarchy and was one of the highlights of the London stay. The group then proceeded to Edinburgh and checked in at the Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club. The serene surroundings and comfortable stay provided a relaxing break after the busy sightseeing schedule. The day was spent at leisure, allowing families to unwind and enjoy the hospitality of the hotel. On the following day, the group went on a memorable excursion to the Scottish Highlands, including a cruise on the famous Loch Ness. The natural beauty of the region, combined with the tranquil cruise experience, left a lasting impression on all participants. The final sightseeing day in Edinburgh included visits to Holyrood Palace and the historic Edinburgh Castle. These landmarks showcased Scotland’s royal and military history and offered stunning views of the city. With this enriching experience, the sightseeing portion of the tour concluded. Overall, the IMA Family Trip to London and Edinburgh from 18th to 26th November 2025 was a great success.
