Report on Annual Kids Program

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly successfully organized its annual children's cultural programme, “Retro Bollywood – Recreated by Our Little Superstars,” at the IMA Auditorium on 21 June 2026. The event was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur, as young performers captivated the audience by recreating the timeless charm of classic Bollywood through mesmerizing dance, music, and theatrical performances. The programme's Chief Guest, Dr. Arun Kumar, Hon'ble Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of Uttar Pradesh, appreciated the exceptional performances of the children. In his address, he remarked that such cultural events play a significant role in nurturing children's creativity, selfconfidence, artistic expression, and overall personality development. The event was also graced by the presence of Dr. Raghavendra Sharma, MLA, Bithri Chainpur, Bareilly, as the Guest of Honour. He applauded the enthusiastic performances of the children and commended IMA Bareilly for its continuous contributions not only to healthcare but also to social, educational, and cultural initiatives that strengthen community engagement. Organized under the leadership of Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava, President, IMA Bareilly, the programme was successfully coordinated with the dedicated efforts of Dr. Anshu Agrawal, Honorary Secretary; Dr. Suvidha Mahar, Chairperson, Cultural Committee; Dr. Shalini Maheshwari, Treasurer; and the active support of all members of IMA Bareilly. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the IMA family, participating children, parents, and guests. Dressed in vibrant costumes inspired by iconic Bollywood characters, the young performers brought the golden era of Indian cinema to life through their outstanding stage presence, expressive performances, and remarkable talent. Their enthusiasm and confidence filled the auditorium with joy, nostalgia, and applause throughout the evening. In his concluding remarks, Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, participating children, parents, organizers, volunteers, and all supporters for making the event a resounding success.
