Report on Annual Sports Day

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly Branch successfully organized the Annual Sports Day–2026 on the occasion of Republic Day, 26 January 2026, at IMA Farms, Dohra Road, Bareilly. The event was conducted in a vibrant, enthusiastic, and memorable manner, witnessing large-scale participation from IMA members and their families. The primary objective of the Sports Day was to strengthen mutual bonding among doctors and their families, promote awareness about the importance of physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, and infuse positive energy through collective recreation and sporting activities. A wide range of exciting and entertaining competitions were organized during the programme, including Octopus Race, Couple Hand Balloon, Blanket Volleyball, Balloon Hold Race, Transport-O-Cup, Stick Leg Race, Frog Race with Ring, Straw Cracks, and Tug of War. Participants from different age groups took part with great enthusiasm, and all present thoroughly enjoyed the activities, which added to the festive spirit of the occasion. Arrangements were made for delicious breakfast for all participants. The entire programme was conducted in an atmosphere of joy, discipline, and true sportsmanship, reflecting the strong unity and camaraderie within the IMA fraternity. The event was followed by lunch, providing an opportunity for members and their families to interact and celebrate together. Dr. Atul K.
