Report on Beautification of Chowki Chauraha

On the initiative of the Bareilly Development Authority (BDA), various organizations in Bareilly were entrusted with the responsibility of beautifying different intersections and roads across the city. This year, the theme for the beautification drive was “Nath Nagri.” As part of this initiative, the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly was assigned the responsibility of beautifying Chowki Chauraha. Keeping in view the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, IMA Bareilly fulfilled its social responsibility with great dedication by carrying out an attractive and grand beautification of the intersection. Bringing the theme of “Nath Nagri” to life, a beautiful idol of Lord Shiva has been installed at the site. The installation artistically depicts a stream of flowers flowing down to the earth from the matted locks of Lord Shiva. The entire intersection has been decorated with colorful flower pots on all sides, enhancing its beauty and visual appeal. Special lighting arrangements have also been made to ensure that the grandeur of the beautification remains clearly visible during the night. The beautified site was formally inaugurated today by the Hon’ble Minister for Forest and Environment, Dr. Arun Kumar. Dr. I. S. Tomar, Former Mayor, was present as the Guest of Honour. The program was attended by office bearers of IMA Bareilly, including Dr. Atul Shrivastava (President), Dr. Anshu Agarwal (Secretary), and Dr. Shalini Maheshwari (Treasurer), along with other members of the association. At 3:00 PM, the statue of Lord Shiva was unveiled and the beautification project was formally dedicated to the public. This initiative not only strengthens the religious and cultural spirit of the city, but also makes a significant contribution to enhancing the aesthetic beauty of Bareilly.
