Report on CPR Workshop

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly, in collaboration with the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA), successfully organized an important awareness and training workshop on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on 24 December 2025. The workshop was held at B.B.L. Public School, Alakhnath Branch, Bareilly, with the objective of spreading life-saving knowledge among students. The program was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava, President, IMA Bareilly, and Dr. Anshu Agarwal, Secretary, IMA Bareilly, who were present on the occasion. Mr. Shyamesh K. Sharma, Principal, BBL School, also graced the program with his presence and encouraged the initiative. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava emphasized that CPR is a crucial life-saving technique and its knowledge is essential for everyone, especially students, so that timely help can be provided during emergencies to save precious lives. Expert CPR training was delivered by ISA faculty members Dr. R. K. Bhaskar, Dr. Ratan Pal Singh, Dr. Ashu Hirani, and Dr. D. P. Gangwar. They explained CPR techniques in a simple and practical manner to students of classes 9 to 12 and provided hands-on training through live demonstrations. The students actively participated in the session and showed keen interest in learning these vital emergency response skills. At the conclusion of the workshop, the school management and teachers expressed their sincere gratitude to the Indian Medical Association, Bareilly, the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, and all the trainers for their valuable efforts. The workshop proved to be a commendable and inspiring initiative towards promoting health awareness and empowering young students with essential life-saving skills.
