Report on CPR Workshop at Madhavrao Scindia Public School

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly Branch, in collaboration with the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA), Bareilly, successfully organized an important and socially beneficial Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Workshop at Madhavrao Scindia Public School, Shiv Garden, Pilibhit Bypass Road, Bareilly. to Around 200 students from Classes 9 12 enthusiastically participated in the workshop and received detailed information along with practical training in life-saving CPR techniques. Teachers of the school also actively took part in the session and learned the essential skills of CPR. The main objective of the program was to equip students and teachers with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in situations. Expert emergency doctors explained the importance of CPR in simple and easy-to-understand language, elaborating on its step-by-step procedure and its crucial role in saving lives in situations such as sudden cardiac arrest. Participants were also informed that timely and correct first aid can often prove to be life-saving. On this occasion, several office bearers from IMA Bareilly and ISA Bareilly were present, including Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava, President, IMA Bareilly; Dr. Anshu Agarwal, Honorary Secretary; Dr. D. P. Gangwar, President-Elect, IMA Bareilly; Dr. Ratan Pal Singh, President, ISA Bareilly; and Dr. R. K. Bhaskar, Governing Council Member, ISA National. The event was also graced by the presence of Mr. Saurabh Agarwal, Owner of Madhavrao Scindia Public School, and Mrs. Priyanka Sarkar, the Principal of the school. At the conclusion of the program, the organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to the school management, teachers, and students for their cooperation and participation, and reaffirmed their commitment to organizing more such meaningful awareness and training programs in the future.
