Report on CPR Workshop at Pioneer College

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly, in collaboration with the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA), Bareilly, successfully organized an important Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) workshop on 28 February 2026 at Pioneer College of Pharmacy, Bisalpur Road, Bareilly. More than 150 students, along with their teachers, enthusiastically participated in the workshop and received practical training in life-saving CPR techniques. The program aimed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to provide immediate and effective assistance during emergency situations. During the session, expert doctors explained the importance of CPR, its step-by-step procedure, and its crucial role in saving lives in cases such as sudden cardiac arrest. The participants were also informed that timely and correct first aid can often prove to be life-saving. The program was attended by Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava, President, IMA Bareilly; Dr. Anshu Agarwal, Secretary, IMA Bareilly; Dr. R. K. Bhaskar, Governing Council Member, ISA National; Dr. D. P. Gangwar, Director, Pioneer College of Pharmacy; and Dr. Geeta Gangwar, Chairman of the institution. All the dignitaries appreciated the active participation and enthusiasm of the students and emphasized that such training programs are the need of the hour to spread awareness about life-saving skills. At the end of the program, the organizers expressed their gratitude to the college administration, faculty members, and students for their cooperation and reiterated their commitment to organizing more such public awareness and training programs in the future.
