Report on Cycle Rally on World Health Day

On the occasion of World Health Day, the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly Branch, successfully organized a Cycle Rally on 7 April 2026 to promote awareness regarding public health, healthy living, and environmental protection. 
The objective of the rally was to encourage people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, engage in regular physical activity, and spread awareness about the importance of fitness and environmental conservation. The rally commenced at 6:00 AM from IMA Bhawan, Civil Lines, Bareilly. The route of the rally covered IMA Bhawan → Shyamganj Flyover → Kesarlata Hospital → Dharam Kanta Chauraha → Mahadev Flyover → Chowki Chauraha and concluded back at IMA Bhawan. A large number of doctors and citizens enthusiastically participated in the event. 
During the rally, participants pledged to spread the message of the World Health Day theme, “Together for Health. Stand with Science.” and emphasized the importance of regular physical activity for maintaining a healthy life. 
The rally was led by Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava (President, IMA Bareilly), Dr. Pramendra Maheshwari (Chairman, Community Services), and Dr. Anshu Agrawal (Honorary Secretary). Other participating doctors included Dr. D.P. Gangwar, Dr. Rajeev Goyal, Dr. Kamendra Singh, Dr. Sumit Agrawal, Dr. Alok Singh, Dr. Pankaj Kumar, Dr. Vibhor Pradhan, along with many other members of the medical fraternity. 
IMA Bareilly regularly organizes such public awareness programs and reaffirmed its commitment to continue similar initiatives in the future for building a healthier society.
