Report on Financial Awareness Workshop

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly, in collaboration with Wise FinServ and Bioforbes, organized a special session on “Financial Awareness” at IMA Bhawan, Bareilly. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from IMA members and their spouses, who benefited from valuable insights into personal financial management and long-term wealth planning. The session covered a wide range of important financial topics, including Retirement Planning, 360-Degree Financial Planning, Risk Profiling and Portfolio Review, Tax Optimization, Debt Management and Loan Structuring, and Protection Against Financial Frauds. The objective of the program was to enhance financial literacy among healthcare professionals and help them make informed financial decisions for a secure future. The keynote speakers were Mr. Ajay Kumar Yadav, CFP and CEO, Wise FinServ, and Mr. Pawan Kumar Singh, President, Wise FinServ, who shared their expertise on various aspects of financial planning. Through practical examples and easy-to-understand explanations, they guided participants on effective wealth management, risk assessment, tax-saving strategies, and financial security. The event was attended by prominent IMA office bearers and members, including Dr. Atul Kumar Srivastava, President, IMA Bareilly; Dr. Anshu Agrawal, Secretary; Dr. Girish Agrawal, Chairman, Scientific Committee; Dr. Shalini Maheshwari; Dr. Vinay Agrawal; Dr. Tahir Hussain; Dr. Irfan Siddiqui; Dr. R. K. Gupta; Dr. Ajay Gupta; Dr. T. R. Kakkar; and Dr. D. P. Gangwar, along with many other distinguished doctors and members of the association. Participants highly appreciated the session and described it as informative, practical, and relevant to their personal and professional financial planning needs. They emphasized the importance of conducting similar awareness programs in the future to help medical professionals stay informed about evolving financial opportunities and challenges. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by an interactive discussion and networking session, fostering meaningful exchange of ideas among the participants.
