Report on IMA Football League Season 3 Auction Ceremony

The auction ceremony for IMA Football League Season–3 (2026), organized by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly, was successfully held at the IMA Building, Bareilly in an enthusiastic and energetic atmosphere. Doctors participated with great excitement, and the entire event reflected a strong spirit of sportsmanship. This year, a total of 12 teams are participating in the league, including 6 men’s teams, 2 women’s teams, and 4 kids’ teams. During the auction process, there was great enthusiasm among the participants for selecting players. Dr. Abhishek Singh emerged as the most expensive player in the men’s category, being bought for the highest bid of ₹17,000. On this occasion, Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava (President, IMA Bareilly), Dr. Manoj Agarwal (Chairman Sports), Dr. Anshu Agarwal (Secretary), Dr. Shalini Maheshwari (Treasurer), Dr. Virendra Pratap (Chairman, IMA Football League), and Dr. Roham Gupta (Convenor) were present along with several senior and young doctors. The event was also graced by the presence of Dr. D.P. Gangwar, Dr. Himanshu Agarwal, Dr. Vinod Rathore, Dr. R.P. Singh, Dr. Mohit Gupta, Dr. Ekansh Agarwal, Dr. Anil Gangwar, Dr. Shashank Mishra, Dr. Navideta Gupta, and Dr. Megha Tandon, among many other doctors. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava stated that the league is a commendable initiative to promote fitness, camaraderie, and team spirit among doctors. He also informed that the IMA Football League matches will be held on April 12, 2026, for which participants are showing great enthusiasm.
