Report on IMA New Year Bash 2026

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly Branch, organized the IMA New Year Bash 2026 with great enthusiasm and elegance on 1st January 2026 at IMA Bhawan, Dohra Road, Bareilly. The event was uniquely curated around a vibrant Spanish theme, creating a colorful, lively, and festive ambience to welcome the New Year. The celebration was held under the leadership of Dr. Atul Shrivastava, President, IMA Bareilly; Dr. Anshu Agarwal, Secretary; Dr. Shalini Maheshwari, Treasurer; and Dr. Suvidha Mehar, Chairperson, Cultural Committee, whose efforts ensured the grand success of the event. Their dedication and meticulous planning were instrumental in making the evening memorable for all attendees. The celebration was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Arun Kumar, Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, UP Govt., whose esteemed presence added dignity and prestige to the occasion. The program was further honored by distinguished Guests of Honour, including Shri Ramit Sharma, ADG Bareilly Zone; Dr. Raghvendra Sharma, MLA Bithri Chainpur; Dr. Vishram Singh, CMO Bareilly; Dr. Layeeq Ansari, Deputy CMO Bareilly; and Dr. Amit Singh, ACMO Bareilly. During the program, “BIMA” Issue–2 for the year 2025–26 was formally launched in the presence of the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour. The publication reflects the academic, professional, and organizational activities of IMA Bareilly. A large number of IMA members actively participated in the celebrations, including Dr. I. S. Tomer, Dr. Girish Agarwal, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Rajeev Goel, Dr. Vinod Pagrani, Dr. Vimal Bhardwaj, Dr. Parul Priya, Dr. Ruchi Shrivastava, Dr. Archana Agarwal, Dr. R. K. Singh, Dr. Satyendra Singh, Dr. Sudeep Saran, along with many other members and their families, reflecting the unity and strength of the association. The evening also featured a Spanish-themed ramp walk show, where participants showcased vibrant attire inspired by Spanish culture with confidence and elegance. The celebrations were further enriched by energetic group dance performances, which filled the atmosphere with rhythm, joy, and festive spirit. The program concluded in a joyful and memorable atmosphere with active participation from members, families, and invited guests. The event was followed by a delightful dinner and fellowship, providing members and guests an opportunity to interact and celebrate together in a warm and congenial environment. IMA Bareilly expressed sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, members of the medical fraternity, and media representatives for their gracious presence and cooperation.
