Report on IMAPL-7

The event of IMAPL Season–7 was successfully organized over a two-day tournament on 6th and 7th December 2025 at the Gangasheel Cricket Academy Ground, Kamua, in an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere. Day 1 commenced with a formal inaugural ceremony marking the beginning of the tournament. The Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony was Dr. I.S. Tomer, Hon’ble Ex-Mayor, Bareilly, while the Guest of Honour was Dr. Ravish Agarwal, Hon’ble President-Elect, IMA Uttar Pradesh State. The inauguration was ceremoniously performed with the release of air balloons and pigeons by the respected guests, symbolizing peace, unity, and sportsmanship. Following the ceremony, league matches across all categories were played, with proper arrangements for breakfast and lunch made for all participants. Day 2 began with an impressive flag march ceremony, in which all participating teams, along with the organizing committee, proudly marched holding their respective team flags, symbolizing unity, discipline, and team spirit. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Astha Agarwal Chairperson Nagar Palika Pillibit, Guest of Honour, whose presence added prestige and encouragement to the participants. The day witnessed the remaining league matches, followed by the Women’s Final, Kids’ Final, Veteran Final, and Family Final, which concluded the tournament on a thrilling and competitive note. The event saw active participation from 16 Family teams, 4 Women teams, 2 Kids teams, and 2 Veteran teams, making the competition highly engaging and spirited. Arrangements for breakfast and lunch were made on Day 2 for all participants and officials. The tournament concluded with a grand gala dinner, followed by a lively DJ night, bringing the event to a joyful, energetic, and memorable end. The Veteran category emerged as a major highlight of the tournament, where President Eleven secured the winner’s title while Secretary Eleven finished as the runners-up after exciting encounters. The Family category featured closely fought matches with impressive batting performances, effective bowling spells, and high-quality fielding. In this category, R.K. Super Kings were declared the winners, while Chandralok Challengers secured the runner-up position. The Women’s category also captivated the audience with outstanding performances, where Victory Queens of D.G. Hospital emerged as the winners, while Sarthak IVF Supernovas finished as the runners-up. To recognize exceptional performance, two diamond rings were awarded to female players as “Women of the Tournament.” In the Kids category, young players showcased remarkable enthusiasm and talent, with Adventurous Adaya emerging as the winners and Ajay Pratima Little Champs as the runners-up. The tournament was conducted under the able leadership of Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava (President), Dr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal (Sports Committee Chairman), Dr. Anshu Agarwal (Hon. Secretary), Dr. Shalini Maheshwari (Treasurer), Dr. Rajeev Goel (Advisor, IMAPL–7), Dr. Shivam Kamthan (Sports Committee Secretary), Dr. R. P. Singh (Chairman, IMAPL–7), Dr. Ankit Gupta (Secretary, IMAPL–7), and Dr. Ankit Agarwal (Convener, IMAPL–7), with special contributions from Dr. R. K. Singh, Dr. Dharmendra Nath, Dr. D. P. Gangwar, Dr. Ratan Pal Singh, Dr. Vinod Pagrani, Dr. Himanshu Agarwal, Dr. Kamendar Singh, Dr. Shahida Ali, Dr. Roham Gupta, Dr. Amit Rathore, Dr. Atul Gangwar, Dr. Arshad Ali, Dr. Vipul Kumar, Dr. Ruchi Shrivastava, and Dr. Archana Agarwal, whose dedication ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the event. The concluding ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries. The Chief Guest of IMAPL Season–7 was Dr. Arun Kumar, Hon’ble Minister of State for the Departments of Environment, Forest, Zoological Garden, and Climate Change, Government of UP. The Guests of Honour included Dr. Ravish Agarwal, Hon’ble President-Elect, IMA UP State; Dr. Manikandan A. (IAS), Hon’ble Vice Chairman, Bareilly Development Authority; Dr. Raghvendra Sharma Ji, Hon’ble MLA, Bithiri Chainpur, Bareilly; Dr. Mandeep Singh, Hon’ble Vice President, IMA UP West Zone; and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Maurya (IAS), Hon’ble Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bareilly. The organizing committee expressed sincere gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, officials, and supporting members, stating that this pre-season event laid a strong foundation for a grand and successful IMAPL Season–7 tournament.
