Report on Meeting of PM Surya Yojna Program

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly successfully organized an awareness meeting on the PM Surya Ghar Yojana on 24 February 2026 at IMA Hall, Bareilly. The main objective of the program was to provide detailed information about the scheme to all private hospitals, clinics, and other medical establishments in Bareilly district, and to share guidelines for its effective implementation. During the meeting, the benefits of the scheme, eligibility criteria, application process, and technical aspects were discussed in detail. Doctors and healthcare institution operators present at the meeting were encouraged to adopt solar energy in their establishments and to take maximum advantage of the government scheme. The meeting was attended by Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava (President, IMA Bareilly), Dr. Anshu Agarwal (Secretary), Dr. Shalini Maheshwari (Treasurer), along with Dr. Ravi Mehra, Dr. R. G. Sharma, Dr. Himanshu Agarwal, Dr. Shammi Purwar, Dr. K. C. Gupta, Dr. Ajay Kumar Gupta, and Dr. Rakesh Kumar (ACMO) and Dr. Amit Singh (ACMO), among several other senior doctors. Through this initiative, IMA Bareilly expressed its commitment to actively contribute towards environmental protection and energy conservation by promoting the use of renewable energy within the medical community. The program concluded successfully with active participation and constructive discussion among the attendees.
