Report on Musical Night & IMA Winter Sports Week Trophies Distribution

On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly Branch organized a grand and successful Musical Evening along with the Trophy and Prize Distribution Ceremony of IMA Winter Sports Week–2026 (held from 5 January to 11 January 2026) at the IMA Building, Civil Lines, Bareilly. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from IMA members and their families. The Chief Guest of the event was Shri Dr. Arun Kumar, Hon’ble State Minister, Department of Environment, Forest, Zoo and Climate Change, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The programme was graced by distinguished guests including Shri Dr. Raghavendra Sharma, Hon’ble MLA, Bithri Chainpur, Bareilly; Smt. Salona Kushwaha, Hon’ble MLA, 133 Tilhar, Shahjahanpur; and Smt. Astha Agarwal, Hon’ble Chairperson, Pilibhit Municipal Council. All the dignitaries appreciated IMA for organizing such cultural and sports activities and described them as essential for building a healthy, positive, and well-organized society. The Musical Evening filled the atmosphere with joy, harmony, and entertainment. This was followed by the felicitation of winners and runners-up of various sports competitions conducted during IMA Winter Sports Week–2026, by presenting trophies and prizes in recognition of their outstanding performances. The awards ceremony boosted the morale of the participants and promoted the spirit of sportsmanship. The entire programme was held under the guidance of Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava, President, IMA Bareilly. Significant contributions to the successful execution of the event were made by Dr. Anshu Agarwal, Honorary Secretary; Dr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal, Sports Chairman; and Dr. Shalini Maheshwari, Treasurer, IMA Bareilly. As part of Winter Sports Week–2026, competitions in Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom were organized, witnessing enthusiastic participation from children, women, and men. Winners and runners-up in all categories were honored with trophies and prizes. IMA Bareilly expressed sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries, participants, winners, organizers, and members, stating that such events strengthen organizational unity, promote a healthy work-life balance, and encourage the spirit of sportsmanship.
