Report on National Doctors’ Day

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly observed National Doctors’ Day on 01 July 2026 at IMA Bhawan, Bareilly, with great enthusiasm and dignity. On this occasion, doctors of the MBBS 1983 Batch were specially honoured for their long-standing contribution and dedicated service to the medical profession. Meritorious students who achieved outstanding results in various academic examinations were also felicitated. Doctors who had attained outstanding achievements in the fields of medicine, education, social service, research and other areas were also honoured for their valuable contributions. The occasion was graced by Dr. Rajeev Goel, State President, IMA Uttar Pradesh, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Sharad Agarwal, Patron and Former National President, IMA, was present as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Anand Prakash, Joint Secretary, IMA Headquarters; Dr. Raghavendra Sharma, MLA, Bithri Chainpur; and Dr. Ravish Agarwal, State President-Elect, IMA Uttar Pradesh, were present as Guests of Honour. Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries appreciated the dedication, commitment and selfless service of doctors towards society. They highlighted the important role of the medical fraternity in serving humanity and extended their warm wishes to all doctors on National Doctors’ Day. A large number of IMA members, senior and young doctors, and their family members participated in the observance. The programme was successfully conducted with the support of Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava, President, IMA Bareilly; Dr. Anshu Agarwal, Honorary Secretary; Dr. Pramendra Maheshwari, Chairman, Community Service; and Dr. Suvidha Mahar, Chairperson, Cultural Committee, along with all office bearers and members of IMA Bareilly.
