Report on Volleyball Auction Ceremony

The auction for the IMA Bareilly Volleyball Tournament Season-2, organized by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly, was successfully conducted on Sunday at the CH-3 Chamber Hall, IMA Bhawan, Bareilly, in an enthusiastic atmosphere. IMA Bareilly office bearers, team owners and a large number of doctors participated enthusiastically in the auction. As per the prescribed procedure, all teams selected their players, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition and sporting spirit throughout the event. A total of 12 teams will participate in this year’s league, comprising 6 men’s teams, 2 women’s teams and 4 kids’ teams. In the women’s category, Dr. Ira Bhardwaj emerged as the highest-paid player with a bid of ₹10,000, while in the men’s category, Dr. Mohit Gupta was the highest-paid player with a bid of ₹11,000. The programme was attended by Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava, President, IMA Bareilly; Dr. D.P. Gangwar, President-Elect; Dr. Anshu Agarwal, Honorary Secretary; Dr. Anil Gangwar, Chairman, IMA Volleyball League; and Dr. Shalini Maheshwari, Treasurer, along with other office bearers. Dr. Atul Kumar Shrivastava stated that IMA Bareilly has always been committed to promoting sports and cultural activities for doctors and their families. He said that the IMA Bareilly Volleyball Tournament Season-2 would provide a common platform for doctors, women doctors and their children, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, camaraderie and a healthy lifestyle. He extended his best wishes to all the selected players and teams for a successful and exciting tournament. The organizing committee informed that the IMA Bareilly Volleyball Tournament Season-2 would be held on Sunday, 02 August 2026, at IMA Farms, Dohra Road, Bareilly. Exciting matches would be played among 6 men’s teams, 2 women’s teams and 4 kids’ teams. Dr. Rohan Gupta, Dr. Himanshu Agarwal, Dr. Virendra Gangwar, Dr. Shashank Mishra, Dr. Manish Goyal, Dr. Sharad Khandelwal, Dr. Amit Saxena, Dr. Shivam Mishra, Dr. Mohit Gupta and Dr. Pooja Goyal, along with several senior and young doctors, were also present on the occasion.
