Report on Welcome of “Joda Sahib” in Bareilly

Bareilly, 25 October 2025 – Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bareilly Branch extended a warm and reverential welcome to the historic Joda Sahib Guru Charan Yatra on its arrival in Bareilly. This sacred yatra is travelling from Delhi to Patna Sahib, one of the most revered pilgrimage centres of the Sikh faith. The objective of this pious journey is to respectfully carry and escort the holy Guru Charan Paduka of Joda Sahib to the birthplace of the revered Gurus. The yatra reflects deep spiritual devotion, Sikh heritage and the timeless Guru tradition. IMA Bareilly President Dr. Atul Shrivastav, Secretary Dr. Anshu Agarwal, Treasurer Dr. Shalini Maheshwari, PRO Dr. Kamendra Singh and other IMA members were present and offered floral tributes and prayers. All dignitaries expressed gratitude for being part of this divine and historic moment. IMA Bareilly conveyed best wishes for this sacred journey and prayed for peace, harmony and collective wellbeing for all.
